Unsurprisingly, Nature also gave us valuable resources, such as our imaginations, memory, problem solving skills, self-awareness plus a range of thinking styles to use in various changing situations.

It is because these needs and resources are built into our biology that, together, they are known as human “givens”.

On those occasions, when our needs are not met or our resources are used incorrectly, we suffer considerable distress, which can have an impact on our Mental Health. And so can those around us.

Our approach to emotional well-being encourages people to identify unmet emotional needs and empower them to meet these needs by activating their own natural resources in new ways.

We do this by using a variety of proven techniques aimed at changing emotional responses and problem solving. We are after all, a Problem Solving species.
